Harvest Acres comes in 3 different versions. Social, Language, and Grammar.
The Harvest Acres activities target a wide variety of skills. They are perfect for mixed groups because they are interchangeable! There are two major ways to play.
Game 2: Specific Skill Practice. Play with only one type of language card (or one card type per student). The student should move around the board. answering the predetermined type of questions. If they answer correctly, use the game points card to determine how many points the student has earned. You can track these points on the included, ‘My Game Points’ card.

Recognizing Emotions (24 cards) Read the emotion listed on the card and explain a time when you might feel this way.
Identifying Social Problems and Solutions (24 cards) Read the social problem or solution card and create the opposite. ie: if you draw a solution card, think of a problem that would apply.
Idioms (24 cards) Give a sentence or explain the meaning of the given idiom.
Sarcasm (24 multiple choice) Use your tone of voice to say the phrase normally and sarcastically.

Generating WH questions (48 cards) Develop a WH question, that will match the answer given on the card
